WATER TEMPERATURE and other data from USCGC NORTHWIND in the Greenland Sea from 1988-07-18 to 1988-09-26 (NODC Accession 8800281)

The data in this accession was collected in Greenland Sea from ship Northwind between July 18, 1988 and September 26, 1988. The real time data of water temperature at varying depth bathythermograph (XBT) was recorded in stripcharts by the US Coast Guard. These stripcharts and radio logs were submitted to NODC. The XBT data from these stripcharts have been digitized and is present in the current NODC data storage system in C116 file format.本入库数据集采集于格陵兰海海域，采集船只为"北风号"（Northwind），采集时段为1988年7月18日至1988年9月26日。美国海岸警卫队使用变深海水测温仪（XBT）实时采集不同深度的海水温度数据，并将实时数据记录于带状记录纸上。上述带状记录纸与无线电日志均已提交至国家海洋数据中心（National Oceanographic Data Center, NODC）。从这些带状记录纸中提取的XBT数据已完成数字化处理，现以C116文件格式存储于该中心当前的数据存储系统中。
