Whole-genome sequencing of bioremediation bacteria

The isolates in this study were obtained from enrichment cultures derived from contaminated sites across Europe, in particular petroleum hydrocarbon, cyanide and hexachlorocyclohexane contaminations. This study is part of the EU-funded MIBIREM project where we aim to develop a unique toolbox for highly efficient bioremediation and environmental applications of microbiomes (https://www.mibirem.eu/about/).
