FollowMeUp Sports is a novel benchmark dataset specifically designed for 2D human keypoint recognition, jointly developed by Alibaba Business School and Hangzhou Normal University. This dataset contains over 16,000 images covering diverse camera angles for more than 200 standard fitness activities, with special focus on specific poses, self-occlusion and class balance. Constructed via a rigorous video screening and keyframe extraction pipeline, this dataset aims to address the poor performance of existing datasets in specialized sports scenarios, and is applicable to fields including virtual/augmented reality, human-computer interaction, action recognition and others.
