CE-SWD v1.0: Central Europe Surface-Wave Dispersion Dataset (Ambient Noise, 2002–2023, Core Release)

CE-SWD v1.0 is an open, citable dataset providing lithospheric-scale surface-wave dispersion measurements for Central Europe, derived from ambient noise cross-correlation. This core release contains Rayleigh and Love wave dispersion curves obtained from three-component seismic data spanning 2002–2023. Both group- and phase-velocity measurements are included, extracted using an automated anchor-based multi-filter analysis workflow. The dataset is accompanied by comprehensive metadata, including station, network, and station-pair tables, as well as quality-control metrics to support reproducibility and transparent reuse. This release represents the initial core of a larger framework. Future expansions will extend the geographic coverage toward Central–South-Eastern Europe and incorporate additional products such as shear-wave velocity models, anisotropy, and derived lithospheric parameters.
