This project focuses on the isolation and comprehensive characterization of novel bacteriophages with distinct properties, including their response to various physicochemical conditions. These phages, sourced from diverse environmental habitats, exhibit a broad host range and demonstrate potent lytic activity, particularly against pathogenic strains of Salmonella spp. and Escherichia coli. The study aims to explore their potential for use in therapeutic, agricultural, and biocontrol applications.
