Supporting data for "Leveraging Social Media for Cross-Cultural Adaptation: The Effects of Cultural Intelligence and Critical Digital Literacy"

This thesis research sought to explore the working mechanism between social media usage and cross-cultural adaptation. An explanatory-sequential approach was employed with two phases of study. The thesis comprises a qualitative phase followed by a quantitative phase to conceptualize and explore not only the direct effects of different social media practices on cross-cultural adaptation, but also the effects of underlying variables in this complex relationship. The data files from Phase one qualitative study consist of interview transcripts from 20 participants.The data file from Phase Two quantitative study consists of questionnaire responses from 163 participants.<br>
