Floor panel with a substrate (2) and a top layer (3) comprising a motif (4); wherein the floor panel (1) comprises coupling means (9); characterized in that said substrate (2) substantially consists of a foamed synthetic material board having an average density of more than 300 kilograms per cubic meter; that said coupling means (9) substantially are realized in the foamed synthetic material board; that the top layer (3) is composed of at least a back layer (28)， which consists of a vinyl compound， the motif (4)， which is formed by a printed synthetic material film (30) provided on the back layer (28)， and a transparent or translucent wear layer (29)， which is formed by a vinyl or polyurethane layer having a thickness of at least 0.2 millimeters; that the back layer (28) has a thickness which is 45 percent or more of the overall thickness of the top layer (3); and that the top layer (3) is glued to the substrate (2).
