The rule books cover various positions within the hospital. Examples include Lady Superintendant, Medical Superintendant, Pathologist, Mortuary, and Committee of Management. Some of the items contain all of the rules of the hospital, while others only contain those rules applicable to a specific group within the hospital.The existence/maintenance of rule books prior to 1902 and post 1967 is subject to further research.Prior to transfer to Public Record Office Victoria, the records in this series were maintained as part of the Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) Archives. They were part of RCH accession number 2010/006.
