Data and code for: Moving from principles to practice — A global survey of intermediary reforestation organizations

This deposit contains the scored/classified survey dataset and R analysis code supporting the manuscript Moving from principles to practice: A global survey of intermediary reforestation organizations (Journal of Environmental Management, 2026). The study surveyed 128 intermediary reforestation organizations worldwide, evaluating practices across four categories: permanence, ecological safeguards, social safeguards, and financial transparency. Included files: Intermediaries2025.csv — final scored dataset (128 rows, one per organization). Schubert_JEM_2025_Code.R — R script reproducing all figures, tables, and statistics reported in the manuscript. Raw survey responses are excluded to protect confidentiality. This dataset reflects the final values used in the published analysis and supports reproducibility of Figures 1–4, Table S4, and the correlation/chi‑squared tests.
