Two main aims were pursued in this study: On the one hand the detection of dysbiosis in murine T cell transfer colitis identified by 16s rDNA sequencing of bulk fecal bacteria from healthy and colitic mice. On the other hand the validation of the flow cytometric analysis of the fecal microbiota by 16s rDNA sequencing of sorted fecal sub-populations.
