Data and code for “Bedrock lithology determines forest demographic responses to drought”

This dataset supports the manuscript “Bedrock lithology determines forest demographic responses to drought” (submitted to Nature Communications).
It includes tree-ring records (COFECHA, ARSTAN processed), drought indices (Rt, Rc, Rs, rRs), satellite-derived regolith water loss rate (RWLR), stable isotope data (δ¹³C), and site-level covariates. R scripts for RWLR calculation, drought response analyses, and statistical modeling (LME, BRT) are provided, along with example input/output files for reproducibility. Data and code are shared under a CC-BY 4.0 license.
