The ISIS2015-21 dataset was developed by researchers from the College of Information Sciences and Technology at The Pennsylvania State University, with the core focus of analyzing ISIS-related social media activities. This dataset comprises 6,173 user accounts and nearly 10 million Tweets in total, covering the time span from 2009 to 2021. During its creation, the researchers collected users' timeline Tweets via the Twitter API, and made functional distinctions between different content categories such as propaganda and operational planning.
