The project aim to explore the role of NAD biosynthesis gene encoding Quinolinate synthase. qs-2 is a NAD deficiency mutant in Arabidopsis thaliana mutated in NAD biosynthesis gene-quinolinate synthase. The mutant qs-2 is a chilling hypersensitive mutant from a forward genetic screen. We isolate total RNA from three-week-old rosette leaf of qs-2 and wild type Col-0 and performed transcriptome sequecing.
