Underway Hydrographic, Weather and Ship-state Data (JGOFS) from Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0408 (2004)

This data set was acquired with a ship-based ODEC Bathy2000 Echosounder Sonar, Thermosalinograph, Turner Designs 10-AU-005 Fluorometer, Kongsberg EM120 Multibeam Sonar system, Meteorological Sensor, Navigation system, and Fluorometer during Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0408 conducted in 2004 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Stan Jacobs). These data files are of JGOFS format and include Navigation, Bathymetry, Fluorescence, Conductivity, Infrared Radiation, Temperature, Meteorological, Salinity, and Visible Radiation data. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Cross-Slope Exchanges at the Antarctic Slope Front (AnSlope), Leg 3 and Collaborative Research: Cross-slope exchanges at the Antarctic Slope Front (ANSLOPE), and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OPP01-25172.本数据集采集自2004年执行的内森尼尔·B·帕尔默号（Nathaniel B. Palmer）科考航次NBP0408，所用观测设备包括船载ODEC Bathy2000回声测深声呐（ODEC Bathy2000 Echosounder Sonar）、温盐测量仪（Thermosalinograph）、Turner Designs 10-AU-005型荧光计（Turner Designs 10-AU-005 Fluorometer）、Kongsberg EM120多波束声呐系统（Kongsberg EM120 Multibeam Sonar system）、气象传感器（Meteorological Sensor）、导航系统（Navigation system）以及荧光计（Fluorometer），本次航次首席科学家为斯坦·雅各布斯博士（Dr. Stan Jacobs）。本数据集文件采用JGOFS格式，包含导航数据、水深测量数据、荧光强度数据、电导率数据、红外辐射数据、温度数据、气象数据、盐度数据以及可见光辐射数据。本数据集由经过校准的、以1分钟为间隔抽稀的原始数据生成。部分字段为基于多组原始输入的衍生测量值。本数据采集工作作为以下项目的组成部分开展：南极坡锋面跨坡交换（Cross-Slope Exchanges at the Antarctic Slope Front，AnSlope）第三航段，以及合作研究项目“南极坡锋面跨坡交换（Cross-slope exchanges at the Antarctic Slope Front，ANSLOPE）”，并获得美国国家科学基金会（NSF）编号为OPP01-25172的项目资助。
