A dataset of 1km Grid Residential land density in China(2020）

Residential land, including urban residential land and rural residential land, is the basic living space for urban and rural residents. The location and quantity of residential land directly affect the quality of people's life. Residential land density is an important indicator of regional human aggregation. The density of residential land reflects the residential suitability and the characteristics of spatial accumulation, which can provide a reference for the formulation of urban and rural development planning, and is of great significance for optimizing the layout of residential land and improving the efficiency of land use. This paper uses the 30 meter land use grid data of the 2020 National Land Change Survey, uses the kilometer grid production software, and calculates the grid space to obtain the data set of China's 1km grid residential land density in 2020. This data set can be used for research on urban village internal planning preparation, planning implementation evaluation, regional residents' quality of life evaluation, residential area demand analysis, carbon source measurement, remote sensing sample database, etc.
