Number of registered real estate agents in Japan FY 2023, by age group and gender

In the fiscal year 2023, there were around 341 thousand male and 67 thousand female registered real estate agents aged 70 years and older in Japan. While they represented the largest age group among registered real estate agents, they only accounted for a small share of real estate agents active in their profession.
