资源简介:
This dataset comprises high-resolution structural magnetic resonance imaging (T1-weighted MRI), resting-state functional MRI (rs-fMRI), and behavioral data from 40 participants. The cohort consists of a unique group of 22 highly experienced Tai Chi Chuan (TCC) practitioners (average experience > 10 years) and 18 demographically matched healthy controls. The data were collected to investigate the neuroplastic effects of long-term mind-body practice on the aging brain. The dataset is organized according to the Brain Imaging Data Structure (BIDS) standards. It includes:1. Anatomical Data: High-resolution 3D T1-weighted images (defaced for privacy).2. Functional Data: Resting-state fMRI scans (243 volumes per subject).3. Phenotypic Data: Demographic information (age, sex, education) and quantitative measures of TCC training experience.4. Behavioral Assessments: Scores from the Number Cancellation Test (NCT, subset N=20) and the Attention Network Test (ANT, subset N=20).This dataset fills a gap in open-access neuroimaging resources by providing data from experts in "moving meditation," offering a valuable resource for studying successful aging, sensorimotor integration, and brain network reorganization.
