Dataset for: Evaluation of altimetry-derived surface current products using Lagrangian drifter trajectories in the eastern Gulf of Mexico

This dataset contains results from Lagrangian particle trajectory model simulations in the eastern Gulf of Mexico during May-August of 2010. Simulations used surface currents derived from altimetry products and drifter trajectories. Nondimensional skill scores (s), Lagrangian separation distances (d), velocities, and trajectories are reported.
