Digital Archive from Archaeological Works at Bus Link Road, Nansledan, Newquay, Cornwall, March 2024

This collection comprises images, text, spreadsheets, and a database from an archaeological evaluation and a strip, map, and sample excavation at Bus Link Road, Nansledan, Newquay, Cornwall. This work was undertaken by Ecus Ltd in March 2024. A small number of archaeological features were identified in the trenches in the west of the site. A large pit (505) was investigated in trench 5 which contained a modern 1p coin and small abraded sherd of medieval pottery. A straight linear feature (1220) which most likely formed part of a boundary or drainage ditch had very small amounts of medieval pottery and animal bone.
