ChIP-Seq of Ndt80-3V5 and Transcriptome in S. cerevisiae meiosis

The purpose of this experiment was 1) to identify the loci bounds by the meiotic transcription factor Ndt80 at different time points during meiosis in wild-type S. cerevisiae SK1 strain and 2) to identify the genes with increased expression at different time points during meiosis in wild-type S. cerevisiae SK1 strain. For the RNA-Seq, synchronous meiosis was achieved by using the NDT80-IN system where cells are allowed to enter meiosis but remain blocked in meiotic prophase until NDT80 expression is induced at 6h, allowing cells to resume meiosis progression.
