This repository contains the <b>complete “Paper Files” folder</b> submitted alongside the manuscript on oyster castles as a nature-based coastal protection strategy. The folder includes hydrodynamics, suspended sediment concentration (SSC), and bed shear stress datasets, along with the Python codes required to visualize and reproduce the figures.<b>Contents:</b><b>Hydrodynamics</b>: Phase-averaged velocity fields (u, w), Reynolds stresses (u′w′), and turbulent kinetic energy (TKE), provided as <code>.npz</code> files.<b>Suspended Sediment Concentration (SSC)</b>: Bundled <code>.npz</code> + memmap sidecars, plus quick-view (videos) tools for SSC evolution.<b>Bed Shear Stresses</b>: Extracted maximum shear stress distributions for bare vs populated and low vs high energy cases.<b>3D Roughness Scan</b>: Preprocessed oyster surface point cloud (<code>.npz</code>) with a replotting function to generate top/side-view panels.<b>Supplementary Materials</b>:<b>PowerPoint file</b> (“PowerPoint Graphs.pptx”): Plots and figures assembled for submission.<b>Excel spreadsheet</b>:Sheet 1 – Offshore summary table of wave and turbulence parameters.Sheet 2 – Froude scaling of the experiments.<b>Python Utilities</b>:<code>_hydrodynamics.py</code> – Hydrodynamics quick viewer.<code>_ssc_evolution.py</code> – SSC overlays.<code>_shear_stresses.py</code> – Bed shear stress comparison plots.<code>_load_npz_from_zip.py</code>, <code>_load_ssc_evolution_zip.py</code>, <code>_load_stress_from_zip.py</code> – Tools for working directly from the compressed archive.<code>_load_3D_scan.py</code> – Visualization of 3D oyster surface roughness scans.<code>driver script.py</code> – One-stop driver script (demo) to reproduce figures across modules.All files along with README text file are kept <b>inside the “Paper Files” folder</b>, which is uploaded here as a complete dataset.
