JapanFlux2024 JP-Hc1 Hachihama Experimental Farm: the International Rice Experiment

The study was conducted at a rice paddy located at the agricultural station of Okayama University
in Okayama, Japan. The study site was approximately 300 m X 300 m, and was surrounded by similar rice fields. On 2 August 1996 micrometeorological instalments and masts were deployed.
The measurements were made from 6 August through to 16 August. The turbulent fluxes of sensible heat, latent heat and CO2 were measured using the eddy covariance system.
