The goal of this project is to identify the gene(s) involved in self-incompatible reaction in citrus in Japan. Some self-incompatible Japanese citrus species and its relative were used in this project. Their styles were used as a source for RNAseq to construct transcriptomes for those cultivars. Then, transcriptomes were annotated and used for screening the gene related to the self-incompatibility.
