Raphanus genetic map. Raphanus raphanistrum x Raphanus sativus

Genetic map of Raphanus was created using a hybrid R. sativus and R. raphanistrum plant by Bett and Lydiate, 2003. This R. sativus X R. raphanistrum hybrid was used to produce a BC1 population of 54 individuals and an F2 population of 85 individuals. Genetic maps were generated from these two populations using 144 Brassica RFLP markers and the two maps were found to be collinear.
