资源简介:
The article summarizes some contemporary debates on the notion of "soul", that nowadays urgently demands a new and particular attention. The Twentieth Century justly refused the disembodied thoughts, but its focus on the body created some imbalance. Phenomenology has the potential for a new armony, because it avoids both the anthropological dualisms of certain traditions and the reductionism that loses the complexity of the existence. In this perspective, although discordant in interpreting the human exception, Edith Stein and Hedwig Conrad-Martius raise important questions regarding the human spiritual experience, taking the phenomenology into the realm of a life eager to find its personal form.
