资源简介:
Hydrogen embrittlement threatens the mechanical integrity of steel in industries like infrastructure and aerospace. This experiment investigates duplex steel with coarse grains in two conditions: (i) solution-annealed (defect-free) and (ii) plastically deformed (~5% strain) with cracks, slip bands, and delaminated grain boundaries. Lab EBSD pre-characterization will identify specific grains for further DFXM monitoring during hydrogen uptake. Intragranular strain and mosaicity evolution will be mapped using ω–η and θ/2θ scans at different electrochemical charging stages. The results will provide a first-ever quantitative correlation between grain characteristics (slip bands, cracks, twins, residual strain) and hydrogen-induced intragranular changes. This study will enhance understanding of hydrogen damage mechanisms and support the development of steels with improved resistance to embrittlement.
