Six professional development sessions were offered from 2021-2023 (three per academic year) to science teachers. The aims were to increase teacher knowledge regarding agricultural content, improve understanding of how agriculturally-relevant curriculum can be used to address learning standards, and quantify changes in knowledge and confidence in teachers to increase adoption of agriculturally-focused curriculum in STEM courses. This data set contains the survey responses obtained from consenting study participants, and is organized by session and year of offering. Sessions consisted of different topics, being one focused on Ecology, one focused on Nutrients and Fertilizers, and one focused on Genes and Genetics. Year 1 sessions were offered from 2021-2022 as a hybrid or virtual format, with sessions offered in 2022-2023 conducted as in-person workshops., All data were collected from human subjects that consented to participate in IRB-approved research activities (Study 2021B0008). All metrics were collected using a digital Qualtrics survey tool. Data were processed using extraction tools and verification of useability prior to analysis. Pre- and post-test identifiers were used to track change over time. As part of the *Ag is STEM: Connecting Agriculture to Environmental and Biological Science Curriculum* grant, three separate professional development sessions were facilitated over two years. The professional development sessions aimed to increase the content knowledge, likelihood, and confidence of K-12 science teachers to integrate agricultural concepts into their courses related to the topics of ecology, nutrients, and genes and genetics. Â
The data for each year and session topic are compiled in separate data sets, titled either Year 1 or Year 2 and ecology, nutrient, or genes and genetics.
