Digital Archive from Geotechnical Monitoring at Thoby Priory, Mountnessing, Essex, May 2017

This collection consists of site images, reports, and a CAD vector drawing from geotechnical monitoring at Thoby Priory, Mountnessing, Essex. Works were carried out by Archaeology South-East in May 2017, in advance of the construction of housing. The geotechnical pits did not reveal any archaeological features or deposits. However, significant thicknesses of modern overburden deposits overlying natural deposits and areas of disturbance are demonstrated in the majority of the test pits monitored.
