Long Term Effects Following High-Dose Therapy and Autologous Bone Marrow Transplantation in Lymphoma Patients, 1999

High-dose treatment with chemotherapy and whole body radiation causes well known side effects. The patients are followed up closely the first couple of years after treatment with late side effects of the treatment in mind, but the long term effects are little known. The purpose of this project was to examine the long term effects on the immune apparatus of lymph cancer patients that has gone through a high-dose treatment.
