Multidimensional Urban Flood Vulnerability Dataset: Indicators from Girona, Spain
收藏资源简介:
This dataset was developed as part of the research behind the paper "Spatial approach for assessing vulnerability to urban flooding: a proposal for a multidimensional index". It includes the full set of indicators used to assess urban flood vulnerability in the municipality of Girona, Spain. The approach takes into account four key dimensions of vulnerability: social, economic, environmental, and physical, each analyzed through the components of exposure, susceptibility, and resilience. In total, the dataset includes 36 indicators, broken down into 47 variables: · Social: 8 indicators (12 variables) · Economic: 10 indicators (10 variables) · Environmental: 8 indicators (10 variables) · Physical: 10 indicators (15 variables) The Excel file contains two sheets for each dimension: · The sheet ending in "_variables" presents the values of the indicators for the 31 sectors of Girona. Each indicator is identified by a code. · The corresponding sheet ending in "_sources" provides full definitions of the indicators, including their units, data sources, year of reference, and direct links when available. This dataset is intended to support spatial vulnerability assessments and can be useful for researchers, urban planners, and anyone interested in flood risk, climate adaptation, or multidimensional vulnerability analysis.
