Identification and biotechnical potential of a Gcn5-related N-acetyltransferase encoding gene in enhancing microalgal biomass and starch production

To identify the potential regulators involved in feedback control process, putative transcription factor/regulator encoding genes differentially expressed in two CrLPAAT1 OE lines (6-4, 12-2) under N depletion condition as a function of time (0, 3, and 12 h) were identified via RNA-seq analysis. Thirty six high-quality transcript profiles were generated, featured by high reproducibility (Spearman correlation > 0.95) among the four biological replicates at each time point.
