we developed and tested a methodology (SWIBRID = SWItch joint BReakpoint IDentification) that harnesses memory B cells for the personalized assessment of immunocompetence and DNA double-strand break repair. Starting from a single, blood-based PCR-reaction, our dedicated bioinformatics pipeline systematically measures the quantity and quality of in vivo generated class-switch recombination joints.
