Pollen analysis of forty-nine stratigraphic samples from Mokapu Peninsula was
undertaken to understand past vegetation. Pollen samples were submitted from individual
stratigraphic layers at several locations in the project area. Two lenses also were sampled for
macrofloral remains. No specific research questions were identified for consideration during
this analysis.
