NUP153 interacts with tick-borne encephalitis virus (TBEV) viral RNA. To identify the interaction site of NUP153 with the viral RNA in this study we performed cross-linking immunoprecipitation (CLIP) sequencing. We transfected a truncation variant of NUP153 (NUP153(1-650)-eGFP) containing the RNA binding site into HEK293T cells an infected them with TBEV. NUP153 was immunoprecipitated using GFP-trap beads and bound RNA was analysed by RNA-seq.
