Purpose: The transcriptional alterations underlying physiological changes in fetal alcohol spectrum disorder are largely unidentified. Here we perform RNA sequencing on 0% and 1% EtOH (12 hpf - 5 dpf) zebrafish at 7dpf stages in order to identify significant transcriptional alterations. All fish were treated with 0% or 1% EtOH from 12 hpf - 5 dpf and removed from EtOH at 5 dpf. From day 5 - 7, larvae were placed in system water (28C) containing paramecia starter culture. 3 biological samples, each containing a group of pooled whole embryos, were included in the study.
