Sidewalks Tisbury MA is a simplified version of 'Road Centerlines with Sidewalks' (see those process descriptions below.) The Road Centerlines with Sidewalks were dissolved based on Street Name and the side of the road the sidewalk was on. Once roads were dissolved, 'copy parallel' was used to create the line segments representing the sidewalks. Sidewalks were offset 10ft from the centerline of the road. These data are just for visual representation for use on planning maps. DOT Year End data obtained on 6/16/2022 from https://gis.massdot.state.ma.us/arcgis/rest/services/Roads/RoadInventoryHistory/MapServer by loading it into ArcPro, filtering for Dukes County, and then using the tool Feature Class to Feature Class. Only where a non-null or non 0 value was entered for Left Sidewalk Width or Right Sidewalk Width were retained. If needed, additional segments were added from the '22 or '17 DOT road centerline file. Side walk exists if the value for Left or Right is >0. A value of 99 was entered by MVC if sidewalk is present but width unknown. A width of > 0 but < 99 was determined by MassDOT. No field verification has been performed to validate sidewalk widths. Width is reported in feet. 'Left', 'Right', or 'Both' indicates the side of the road where the sidewalk is present. Side of the road is relative to the segment's From/Start - To/End delineation. All sidewalks are represented by the road's centerline.
