Drinking Water Distribution System Microbes and Communities

Samples from this BioProject are collected from a variety of drinking water distribution system sources and can include bulk water, biofilm swabs, and/or sediment samples from dedicated sampling stations, fire hydrants, storage tanks, total coliform rule sites, entry point, and maximum residence time locations. Data from these samples help elucidate occurrence and growth mechanisms of opportunistic pathogens as well as indigenous drinking water microbes and communities.
