Data collection:  "Mapping the Sun’s coronal magnetic field with DKIST/CryoNIRSP"  Dataset:  "AWSOM_202306260000"Data assembled on 24 July 2024 by Tom Schad - National Solar Observatory - tschad@nso.edu Summary: The files contained within this dataset entitled "AWSOM_202306260000" are a part of a collection entitled "Mapping the Sun’s coronal magnetic field with DKIST/CryoNIRSP."  They are made available for the purposes of supporting the important claims in the associated article (Schad et al. 2024 in press). Detailed Description: This dataset contains simulation data from the Alfvén Wave Solar atmosphere Model (AWSOM) model as described in the associated article.  The publicly available NSO/GONG ADAPT magnetogram from 26 June 2023 was using for the bottom boundary with the identifier: adapt40311_03k012_202306260000_i00005600n1  (see https://nso.edu/data/nisp-data/adapt-maps/). The main simulation data files are: AWSOM_202306260000/3d__var_2_t00001407_n00200000.infoAWSOM_202306260000/3d__var_2_t00001407_n00200000.outAWSOM_202306260000/3d__var_2_t00001407_n00200000.tree These data files may be used alongside the awsom_genr.py code for loading in and viewing the data.  This python code depends upon the open source pybats package (https://spacepy.github.io/pybats.html).  Other functions in this file help read and interpolate values on the unstructured simulation grid.   This approach enables loading other parameters externally computed, especially the data contained in the python numpy savefile named 'awsom_0626_map_var_3_fe13_1074_1079_pops_200level_new.npz.' The numpy savefile contains data corresponding to the local emissitivity and atomic alignment parameter for teh 1074 and 1079 nm transitions of Fe XIII on the same grid as the AWSOM simulation data.  These data were created with the open source pyCELP code available at https://github.com/tschad/pycelp and further documented in Schad & Dima (2020) Solar Physics 295, 98S.
