A collection of immune related gene-lists from ImmPort

The immune related gene-lists are sets of genes involved in immune functions. These gene-lists may be useful for assessing immune functionality using gene set analysis approaches (1). To obtain this collection, we curated the gene-lists from the Reactome (2) and GO databases (3,4). Specifically, gene-lists were curated from the “Immune System Process” term in GO and thee “Immune System” event in Reactome. The GO subterms were further separated until they had a maximum of 200 genes, and these were grouped into gene-lists.

Additional information for each gene-list, such as gene synonyms, was obtained from NCBI. The gene-lists can be exported in gmt, json and txt formats from the ImmPort website. The gene-lists can also be downloaded programmatically using the Gene List API endpoints using information provided here https://docs.immport.org/apidocumentation/genelist/overview.
