Candidatus Altiarchaeales archaeon WOR_SM1_SCG isolate:WOR_SM1_SCG Genome sequencing and assembly

In this study, an archaeon sorted form an enrichment of 75 centimeter deep sediment of White Oak River estuary sediment was targeted for sequencing as a member of the archaeal taxon Altiarchaeales. This genomic information adds to our knowledge of this recently described and diverse taxon. It also represents the genomic information available from a member of this group not inhabiting a stream environment and a member that is phylogentically distinct from those previously studied.
