Biodiversity between sand grains: Meiofauna composition across southern and western Sweden assessed by metabarcoding

Metabarcoding data based on the V1-V2 region of the nuclear 18S small ribosomal subunit and the "mini-barcoding" region of the mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase subunit I. DNA was extracted from environmental samples, specifically marine sandy sediments collected from five locations in Sweden during May-June 2016.
