Gene expression in minor salivary gland of female patients with primary Sjögren’s syndrome (pSS) and healthy volunteers

To study the difference of gene expression profile in minor salivary glands of female patients with primary Sjögren’s syndrome (pSS) and healthy volunteers Total mRNA was extracted from minor salivary glands of 8 female patients with primary Sjögren’s syndrome (pSS) and 6 healthy volunteers. Minor salivary glands of all 8 pSS patients showed low lymphocytic scores (focus score ≤ 2).
