资源简介:
The 1987 survey extends the LOL84 study, with an aim to generate the cross-national comparative and longitudinal information about the objective and the perceived quality of life of people living in republics and autonomous provinces of SFR Yugoslavia. It closely resembles the social reporting surveys in other countries and replicates portions of "The Level of Living Survey", Swedish Institute for Social Research. The survey includes a portion of the ISSP86 Social network module about informal social helps. Demographic data about spouse/partner, father and mother of respondent are given, showing social and ethnic origin, including education and occupation. Internal migrations are described in a special section. Among topics covering residential standard and dwelling environment are house, dwelling size, rent, quality, complaints, and satisfaction with neighborhood, including shopping and public transport facilities. Another area concerned family, with questions dealing with marital status, number of children and their age, and household composition, the elderly and problems of ageing society. Respondents with children were asked about child day-care or about school and socialization strategies. Respondents report about household activities as preparing meals, cleaning, doing small repairs. Health, illness, medical aid needed, physical well-being, smoking, eating and drinking habits, satisfaction with social service institutions and social security represents another area, with attitudes about AIDS at the end. Work satisfaction, quality of employment, education and income were also included. Respondents reported on their recreation activities, holidays, and on reasons for selection of their leisure time activities. Membership and political participation in political and self-management organizations are described. Finally, general well being and satisfaction is assessed. Social networks are described through characteristics of at most five for respondent important persons. Personal data include sex, age, ethnic background and education, church attendance and region.
