This dataset is the first publicly available annotated dataset of Nissl-stained mammalian brain tissue images, designed for cell segmentation tasks. The dataset comprises image patches acquired at 20× magnification, with each patch having a dimension of 256×256 pixels. In terms of scale, the dataset includes 38,755 cells and 1,104 image patches, with the core task being cell segmentation.
