A Pilot Audio Corpus of French Word Pronunciation by Chinese University Beginners

This dataset contains a pilot sample of five audio recordings of French word pronunciation by Chinese university beginners. Each recording was produced by one first-year undergraduate student after approximately 6 hours of French learning. The word list focuses on the pronunciation contrast between French /u/ and /y/. The dataset includes the audio files, a metadata file, and a word list without phonetic transcriptions.
