Quantifying the health-related quality of life of heart failure patients in Malaysia and the cost-effectiveness of ARNI in managing heart failure

Heart failure (HF) significantly impacts Malaysia's healthcare system, with high rates of hospitalisation and death rates. People living with HF also reported poor health-related quality of life (HRQoL). This research focuses on heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF), aiming to identify opportunities to improve the care process in managing HFrEF. By evaluating the HRQoL of HFrEF patients and the cost-effectiveness of a HF therapy (ARNI), this research offered valuable insights and recommendations to inform decisions and policies, delivering value-based healthcare to improve patient outcomes cost-effectively.
