The provided files are processed using a Python script that analyzes SOHO/COSTEP SCI Level-1 data. The script selects records with valid instrument status words, averages the selected one-minute counter rates over a user-defined time interval, and uses the B00/F0 ratio as a proxy for quiet-time stability. A Gaussian function is fitted to the B00/F0 distribution for values up to 0.1. The mean value of the fitted distribution, together with ±4 standard deviations (σ), defines the accepted quiet-time range. Diagnostic plots are generated showing the averaged B00, F0, and B00/F0 time series, highlighting periods where the B00/F0 ratio exceeds the upper quiet-time threshold. Additional figures display F0, G0, CT0, G0/F0, and the number of selected one-minute records for averaging bins that fall within the accepted quiet-time range. The script can also generate yearly CSV files containing averaged A-sector, B-sector, F0, G0, and CT counter rates, along with the number of one-minute records used in each averaging bin and the dominant instrument status word. In addition to the processing script, precomputed 15-minute and 60-minute averaged datasets covering the period 1995–2026 are provided. Such data were utilized in Deliverable D5.3
