Transcortin (corticosteroid-binding globulin, CBG, Serpin A6) (Hammond et al, 1987) is produced in the liver and functions as a plasma transporter of corticosteroids such as progesterone, aldosterone, cortisol and 11-deoxycorticosterone (Dunn et al, 1981). These hormones are biologically active when not bound to CBG therefore CBG may regulate the bioavailability of these hormones.
Transcortin（皮质类固醇结合球蛋白，CBG，丝氨酸蛋白酶A6）由肝脏合成，充当皮质类固醇如孕酮、醛固酮、皮质醇和11-脱氧皮质酮（Dunn等人，1981年）的血浆转运蛋白。这些激素在未与CBG结合时具有生物活性，因此CBG可能调节这些激素的生物利用度。（Hammond等人，1987年）
