Boise Police Department Reporting Districts

This is a polygon data set representing the current Boise City Police (BPD) reporting districts. Police reporting districts are the smallest division of territorial boundaries used by law enforcement to deploy manpower, organize officers below their senior commanders, and to track reported crimes, accidents, and calls for service. Reporting districts typically encompass a few square blocks. Boise City Police reporting districts exist only within the Boise City limits. The outer boundary of the reporting districts are coincident with the Boise City limit boundaries. This data set was created by Boise City GIS based on boundaries determined by the Boise Police Department and Ada County Sheriffs Office. It is current to the date it was published.
