Leaf and_root microbiome in subtropical forest

Here, we comprehensively investigated the responses of bacteria, fungi, and protists in the phyllosphere and rhizosphere to tree mycorrhizal type and plant traits, using a long-term controlled plantation experiment. Leaf and root samples were collected from the same tree individual in spring and summer to disentangle host-associated, environmental, and stochastic drivers of diversity and community .
